Teaching Methodologies
Different methodologies conducive to the achievement of the course program will be:
– Theoretical – oriented content predicted using the image projection oral exposure;
– Component practice- monitoring and mentoring the students’ work.
The assessment in the course will take place, at the option of the student, in the following ways:
– Continuous evaluation;
– Exam.
The evaluation in those modalities will obey criteria that will be explained in the statements and/or other elements presented, according to the following components and weights:
Continuous evaluation
– Practical assignments – 75% weight in the global assessment.
– Graphic diary: 25%
Exam
– Mastery of syllabus – 100% weight in the overall assessment of the exam.
Learning Results
1. Recognize the major works and authors of Art and Design and contextualize them in their temporal and cultural space;
2. Acquire skills of drawing techniques and their variants;
3. Develop strategies and own styles of expression;
4. Develop the capacity of representing shape and volume;
5. Know how to use three-dimensional observation factors;
6. Designing studies drawings of interior space;
7. Domain representation of light and shade;
8. Know, understand and implement all phases of the creative process of design and the main functions of communication and artistic image.
Program
1. PERCEPTION AND REPRESENTATION OF THE OBJECT
– Introduction to visual drawing;
– Distinction between looking, seeing, and believing;
– Visual language elements: point, line, plane, volume, color, texture and size;
– Formal organization: composition, shape / background, symmetry / asymmetry, proportion, balance, contrast, static / dynamic / kinetic;
– Observation drawing;
– Linear and volumetric design;
– Expressive, analytical and diagrammatic drawing;
– Structural analysis of the form;
– Techniques, materials and supports.
2. SPACE REPRESENTATION
– Three-dimensional observation factors: perspective; vanishing points; volumetry;
– Drawing studies of interior, exterior, architectural and natural space;
– Structural elements of urban landscape;
– Light, shade, transparencies, sunshine;
