Knowledge of general theory of civil law, computer law and constitutional law.

Teaching Methodologies

The classes will be taught through the exposition of theoretical contents and their practical application in the context of real scenarios of counseling the business entity, assuming a dynamic of active participation of the students in the application of knowledge to concrete case studies.

Learning Results

Goals:

It is intended to provide students with knowledge of the legislation applicable to legal acts carried out in a digital environment and, more specifically, to the legal regulation of electronic commerce in Portugal and in the European Union, in order to be able to provide adequate legal support to companies that exercise the its activity in the digital environment.

Skills:

a) Understanding and practical application of the legal framework for digital services.

a) Mastering the concepts and legal rules that underlie contracting and electronic commerce.

b) Knowledge and practical application of the legal procedures necessary for the creation of an electronic commerce “site”.

c) Understanding and practical application of consumer rights in the digital market.

d) Understanding the legal framework for electronic advertising and unsolicited email.

e) Understanding and practical application of the legal protection of personal data in electronic commerce.
