Teaching Methodologies

The Theoretical contents are presented in expository sessions and the Practical contents will be through practice and development of proficiency in sport specific technical and tactical actions. The demonstration, observation/correction of gestures and actions will be promoted, as well as the specific didactic material produced for each block.

Learning Results

1. Know the concepts related to the role of football coach, such as rules of conduct and guiding principles of his intervention.

2. Identify and describe the principles, rules, terminology and game-specific signage.

3. Master the principles and general concepts to be introduced in each stage of evolution of the game and the players.

4. Master the concepts and know the applicable methodologies to the development of motor skills.

5. Identify the various technical and tactical (offensive and defensive) principles of the game and select the training exercises and game situations that favour the development of the identified processes in the various phases of the players’ learning.

6. Intervene and conduct exercises according to the rules that govern the objectives and identify the guiding principles of team direction.
