Base Knowledge

Basic knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Excel.

Teaching Methodologies

The expository methodology will be used for the presentation of the concepts of the curricular unit, supported by carrying out, on a computer, exercises for the application of the transmitted concepts (in the case of Microsoft Excel component).

The practical component will be based on exercises based on situations that students may encounter in their professional life.

In addition to classes, students should develop complementary work, which will be monitored throughout the course.

Learning Results

This course aims to provide students with knowledge that enables them to do their jobs work in a more efficient way. Accordingly, the content that will be taught includes productivity tools – with a focus on its use in the activities of a professional in the area of law, and basic knowledge in systems and information security.

– Databases (filters, functions, and dynamic tables and charts)

– Protection functionality

– Information sharing between productivity applications

2) Information systems security

– Basics

– Encryption and authentication

– Threats to information and systems security

– Basic procedures to strengthen security
