Teaching Methodologies

The internship will be developed around a spectacle project, from a text, preferably in three fundamental moments:
1. collective sessions guided by the teacher/director:
2. Sessions in small groups depending on the distribution of characters and tasks to be performed:
3. Individual work, responsibility of each student, to be shared.
The teacher/director always will highlight the different phases of work.
The evaluation will privilege the work of each student developed throughout the process, based on the following criteria:
Meeting deadlines, work discipline, attendance and punctuality – 30%;
Artistic quality in the final installment, during the presentation of the show – 40%;
Attitude in collective work – 30%
Because it is a Internship there is no place for the assessment exam (Internship Regulation).

Learning Results

1. Practice/synthesize the apprenticeships acquired in nuclear curricular units of the artwork, such as: Text Analysis, Body and the Voice articulation, Interpretation, Improvisation …
2. Become familiar with the theatrical practice in a professional context, with regard to the discipline of work, collective work, production, set design, contact with the publics, communication strategies, and other aspects.
3. Master and practice the different stages of creating a spectacle: design, choice of text, table rehearsals, rehearsals on stage and their methodology in detail, general, show, fixes a show to the next.
4. Create and perform a show to be presented to the public, if possible, between 8 to 10 times.
