Teaching Methodologies

The methodology includes both theoretical and practical activities. Initially, there are classes with all the students to present and discuss their preferences in terms of research areas and internship activities. In these first classes, contents related to research methodology are exposed and consolidated through the presentation of a guide for research methodology to be applied in the project. After defining the internship place and the related individual research project, individual sessions are scheduled according to each student needs of supervising. Students can choose between 2 options:
Option A: Full internship in a tourism organization, in Portugal or abroad, with a minimum of 560 hours. The internship is associated with the development of a theoretical background about the reality of the business sector associated with the internship.
