Teaching Methodologies

Classes will be taught in a theoretical-practical regime, using computers and digital tools.

Student-centered teaching and learning, provision of teaching materials in advance, development of activities and classes almost entirely aimed at applying concepts, with a fundamentally interactive dynamic.

This methodology allows the monitoring, knowledge and regular awareness of the syllabus covered each week, promoting discussion, involvement and collaboration of everyone in the learning process.

Learning Results

Information Technology and, in this domain, computer applications have an increasingly predominant role in most activities and areas of knowledge.

Thus, the main objectives of this course, UC, focus on the acquisition of knowledge in the field of Information Technologies, from the user’s perspective.

It is also the objective of this UC, to sensitize students to the importance of computer applications and, in particular, the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet; highlighting its importance in solving concrete problems, organizing and processing data, calculating, building reports and presenting conclusions.

It is intended that the monitoring of the teaching component of the UC allows the acquisition of a set of skills/aptitudes that allow to streamline and monetize work on the spreadsheet and enhance its application in different domains of knowledge.
