Teaching Methodologies
The teaching methodologies will go through a parallel treatment of the program’s thematics both in a theoretical and in practical level. Throughout the program, problem-solving activities propperly embedded with the purposes and competencies to develop will take place. Several kinds of classes will occour: a) theoretical b) theoretic-practical c) practical, of project abilities application d) practical, of thechniques application The students will be able to select one of the following evaluation’s possibilities: 1. Frequency – Consisting on 3 appraisal moments: a) Frequency test, directed to evaluate the program’s contents (45% weight). b) Group project: directed towards the development and application of a organizational change project (40% weight) c) Problem solving tasks developed during classes (15% weight) 2. Exam – Exam proof regarding all contents lectured (100% weight)
Learning Results
This curricular unit intents to develop a set of competencies that make the students aware of the importance of change and inovation in organizations, and prepared to act in organizations in current competitive market dynamics. The followin competencies will be developed: Knowing organizational change and development methodologies; knowing the effects of organizational change in individuals, grups and organization’s performances. In order to develop these competencies, several learnning objectives have been outlined: (nº1) to understand both in a strategic and practical way, the benefits of inovation and change management; (nº2) to understand how to structure inovation and change projects in organizations; (nº3) to apply thecnical abilities in the practice of planning and management of organizational change; (nº4) to understand the thecnical speficications when accompanying Organizational Change and Development actions.
