Base Knowledge
Knowledge about the most frequent cardiac and respiratory pathologies as well as about the complementary methods of diagnosis of these areas with which future professionals will come to deal
Teaching Methodologies
Teaching is based on expository theoretical classes no the various topics, with multimedia support, allowing a mechanistic approach to the main clinical manifestations and pathophysiological mechanisms of respiratory and cardiac diseases
The evaluation is carried out through a written test that focuses on the contents programs taught in class..
Learning Results
The student must acquire knowledge of:
• Clinical-pathological bases on the main pathologies of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems
• Clinical and pathological bases on the effects of the main systemic diseases on the respiratory and cardiovascular
The student must acquire skills in:
• Identify the main clinical and laboratory manifestations of the main diseases that affect the respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
• Propose appropriate laboratory tests for the study and treatment of the main respiratory and heart diseases
The student must acquire skills in:
• Choose the most appropriate laboratory tests for the study and treatment of the main respiratory diseases and heart
• Interpret the results of laboratory tests in the clinical context of the patient with respiratory or cardiac diseases
