Teaching Methodologies
The syllabus will be taught through the alliance between the theoretical exposition of the themes under analysis and the simulation of a newsroom, in which students will rehearse all the tasks of the journalists’ productive routine. According to the Continuous Assessment Scheme, learning will be assessed through the individual participation of the student in the classroom (50%) and in the team work in which he was involved throughout the semester in collaborative projects foreseen within the scope of the course (50% of the final grade). According to the Assessment Regime by Final Exam, the grade will result from the classification obtained in the final work and within the deadlines set by the ESEC for this purpose.

Practice of journalism in media companies. Analytical capacity of media products, including the Press. Skills in critical reflection on the exercise of journalism and social responsibility. Understanding the dynamics of a production drafting. Capacity of argument about editorial options. Capacity management information. Master the techniques of writing news. Ability to work under tight deadlines.
