Teaching Methodologies

Classes are theoretical-practical (TP).
In approaching the themes, audiovisual and digital means will be used to present the contents and examples that illustrate them, as well as practical cases and exercises in class, individual and in groups, to encourage active participation.

The pedagogical methods used will be: the expositive, the interrogative (with questions to the students during the exposition) and the case study, allowing a practical approach, active with interaction of the students in order to facilitate the creation of ideas and confirmation of the results. apprehended contents, as well as a strong approximation to current organizational contexts.

Tools that facilitate learning and stimulate students will be used, making use of educational technology, such as: Kahoot, Socrative and Mentimeter.

Learning Results

The purpose of the Curricular Unit is to provide students with knowledge and techniques that allow them to identify the elements that are present in the dynamics of human relations in organizations and their impact on organizational effectiveness.

Specific objectives are:

– Understand the relationship between culture and society, their interactions, implications and specific contexts

– Analyze modern organizations and the effects of globalization in a world in constant change and VICA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous)

– Know and characterize psychosocial processes in organizational contexts

– Understand individual behavior and work teams in organizations

– Framing the processes of motivation and decision-making associated with contexts of organizational change.

 

At the end of the course unit, students should be able to:

  • Recognize the importance of people in organizations, leveraging their individual differences to improve competitiveness
  • Manage interactions between processes, people and teams in an organizational context
  • Apply effective communication practices of interpersonal relationships
  • Understand theories of human motivation and articulate them to promote practices that improve productivity and quality of life in organizations
  • Knowing the dynamics of work teams in organizations
  • Promote mechanisms to boost culture and organizational development.
