Base Knowledge

It is recommended that the student has successfully attended UC Equitation I.

Teaching Methodologies

Demonstration by the teacher of different techniques for teaching the horse.

Improvement of the technique by the student through the practice and repetition of different exercises, mainly in the disciplines of dressage and show jumping.

Exhibition of theoretical contents.

Learning Results

  • Know the procedures related to shearing;
  • Know the different ways of presenting horses;
  • Master the principles of thinning the horse; perform P1-level teaching exercises;
  • Perform obstacle jumping exercises from a height of less than 50 cm.

  1. The use of the shearing machine and the different types of shearing
  2. The different ways of presenting horses and their preparation and material to be used
  3. The clothing worn by the knight in different contexts.
  4. Guide work
  5. The different stages of thinning and teaching the horse.
  6. Teaching modality exercises
  7. Principles of training in the Obstacle modality.
