Routing

Learning Results

This unit has as main goal the acquisition of competences that leave to the understanding the main aspects, technologies and protocols involved in the routing process in computer networks. Also is the objective the acquisition of elementary competences of computer network configuration, namely routers.

Program

Identify the concepts subjacent to routers in computer networks.
Understand the importance of the routing protocols in computer networks.
Understand the difference between vector distance and link state routing protocols.
Understand and explain the process of creation of the routing table in a router.
