Teaching Methodologies

The methodology is divided between face-to-face activities and autonomous activities: thematic seminars on the CU contents; autonomous work of the student for bibliographic research, identification of the research/organizational problem, structuring of the theoretical framework and definition of the work plan.

This CU provides the following assessment methods:

a) Periodic assessment;

b) Assessment by exam.

Learning Results

a) Distinguish and select qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

b) Identify areas of interest for the completion of the dissertation, project or internship.

c) Formulate the research problem underlying the dissertation or the organizational problem underlying the project or internship.

d) Structure the theoretical framework appropriate to the research problem or organizational problem.

e) Select quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques.

f) Distinguish and apply techniques of treatment and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data.

g) Structure the investigation report.

1. Quantitative research and qualitative research: knowledge construction models.

1.1. Quantitative research: survey; scales.

1.2. Qualitative research: interview; focus group; case study.

2. Quantitative/ qualitative research process: how to structure a research/ intervention/ evaluation project: steps and procedures.

3. Quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques (from your choice to construction and validation).

4. Treatment and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data based on specific software.

5. Investigation report.
