Seminários Industriais

Base Knowledge

General knowledge in the areas of informatics engineering, software engineering and data science.

Teaching Methodologies

Classes are taught in different formats:

  • Students give a presentation on a free topic.
  • Guest speakers from the business present seminars, approaching core themes to their companies, such as projects, work methodologies, technologies, business areas, etc. At the end, they should leave one or several problems to the students, preferably based on real situations.
  • Students write a report of each of the proposed challenges.
  • Classroom discussion on writing and presentation of scientific papers. Students must write and present a technical-scientific article. The article goes through a process of intermediate submission, peer review and final submission. The intermediate delivery will also have a presentation and defense. The presentation and final defense take place during the school break week.
