Base Knowledge

Knowledge of the English language corresponding to level B1 of the European frame of reference.

Teaching Methodologies

Given the nature of the objectives and programmatic contents of this curricular unit, the chosen teaching methodology has the fundamental purpose of stimulating and optimizing student learning. In this way, an active teaching methodology centered on students will be privileged, such as through Problem based learning, Project based learning, Flipped classroom and Brainstorming.

Carrying out work in class, individually and also in small groups, as well as practicing debates/discussions in class, will be pedagogical strategies also used in classes in this subject.

 

Learning Results

Taking into account the role played by a professional in this area, this curricular unit aims to develop in the student the ability to plan and structure presentations, participate in meetings or even lead them. Some time will also be devoted to applying for a job: letter of application, curriculum vitae and interview. So that students can develop the written and oral tasks that are presented to them with the desired correction, grammatical structures of the English language will be revised and consolidated.
