Base Knowledge

This curricular unit will apply previous knowledge learned at the remaining units of the course.

Teaching Methodologies

The teaching methodologies of this curricular unit are internship and tutorial guidance. The internship period in a professional context corresponds to 600 hours of labour.

The students’ work will be accompanied by 2 supervisors. One belonging to the organization where the internship period will take place – supervisor– and one teacher from ESAC – orientador. Both have an active role in supporting the student’s work.

In addition to the work done during the internship period, the student will have to prepare a final report and make his oral presentation in face of a jury of teachers.

Learning Results

  • Apply and develop in a work context, the knowledge acquired in the curricular units;
  • Acquire specific knowledge related to the area in which the training experience takes place, extending the knowledge and skills acquired during the course.

Program

  1.  On-the-job training in one or more activities of the professional portfolio;
  2.  Elaboration of a written document reporting the training experience.
  3.  Oral presentation of the work developed during the training period.
