French IV (Foreign Languages IV)

Base Knowledge

This course is intended for students who have a good knowledge of French at the level of B1.1 of the European Framework of References for Languages.

Teaching Methodologies

Theoretical-practical classes with action-oriented communicative methods and task- and project-oriented methods.

Practice of oral and written language skills through different types of written texts and audiovisual materials.

The proposed texts are of very varied typology (interview, article, editorial, opinion article, reportage, web page, song, advertising text, reports, excerpt from a novel or dramatic text, poem, biography, etc.), allowing the student to contact with different discursive sequences (dialogical, descriptive, narrative, explanatory and argumentative).

Learning Results

Deepen skills already acquired and acquire new knowledge in the French language, starting from a B1.1 level of mastery of the four basic skills.

– To be able to deal with most situations encountered in the area where the target language is spoken.

– Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.
