The methodology will be expository with the use of examples and, whenever possible, farm visits will be done.

Learning Results

1- To know the diversity of production systems for fruit, vegetables, crops, and herbs (edible or medicinal), and how production method condition quantity and quality, referring examples of National cultivars.

2-  To recognise determinant aspects of products quality, which are related with the genotype or the environment, and verify the potential of quality labels in their promotion.

3- To know the diversity of animal production systems and how production method condition the quantity and quality of animal products, referring examples associated with indigenous breeds.

4- To appreciate determinant quality aspects of livestock products, which are related with the genotype or the environment, and verify the potential of quality labels in their promotion.
