Learning Results

After attending the course, each student is expected to be able to

  • Understand the different concepts of organizational architecture of information systems
  • Design, model and analyse organisational processes and activities
  • Know the essential concepts of BPM
  • Model the main components of business processes through different tools that allow to understand, communicate, evaluate, and manage business processes
  • Understand processes, their efficiency and effectiveness, based on the decomposition of their components and attributes and on appropriate techniques and tools
  • Promote process transformation through the planned evolution of the lifecycle of business processes, strategies and methodologies for continuous improvement and change management
