Teaching Methodologies

Throughout the classes, diverse approaches are privileged, which are based on the theoretical explanation of contents, on the analysis of practical cases of use of the Portuguese language, on the interaction between the teacher and the students and on practical work (individual and group) that take as a starting point the contextual variety of use of the Portuguese language in orality.

 

Learning Results

1. Recognize the specificities of communication and expression in orality;

2. Identify symmetries and asymmetries between oral and written communication;

3. Produce oral statements appropriate to the communicative intentionality that underlies them;

4. Interpret oral statements, integrating them into different typologies;

5. Legitimize the main techniques of oral expression, applying them in appropriate communicative situations;

6. Acquire oral comprehension and expression strategies, applying them to various situational and/or professional contexts;

7. Identify, interpret and correct recurring errors and inaccuracies in oral communication.
