Digital Graphic Animation

Base Knowledge

Basic knowledge relating to graphic design theory;

Basic knowledge regarding the editing and composition of multimedia graphic material.

Teaching Methodologies

The methodological options leading to the fulfillment of the curricular unit’s program will focus on three fundamental pedagogical components:

  • Theoretical component – oral exposition, supply, and projection of content related to the planned subjects, using multimedia sources whenever possible;
  • Practical component – practical exercises to explore and consolidate the contents of the course.
  • Theoretical-practical component – presentation, analysis, and discussion of productions relevant to the subjects taught;

Learning Results

To know the basic principles of the discourse of animated images and animated graphic design.

Acquisition of theoretical knowledge related to the principles of motion design, its state of art, applicability, and supports.

Understand and apply the appropriate methodologies for the production of animated graphic design (motion design).

Develop practical skills oriented to the multidisciplinary edition of motion design: typographic elements; infographics; videography; and audio in a creative and aesthetic sense.
