When you finish this course students should be able to:
• Understand the main concepts associated with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
• See an ERP system as the main unifying data of an organization: its major components.
• Identify best practices in ERP systems.
• Understand the architecture of an ERP, the importance of the concepts of integration of functions / business
processes and integration of their data, create models of business processes (BPM) and its data model (ERM);
• Understand how different data of different processes are interrelated.
• Know how to apply some tools.
• Develop small jobs / BPM projects.
• Characterize and balance the main advantages and disadvantages associated with implementing an ERP
system
