This teaching unit is directed to the acquisition of knowledge and motor skills for evaluating and implementing
techniques of physiotherapy
Acquire the field of terminology related to the concepts covered:
Demonstrate the ability to describe and adjust the methods and concepts covered
Describe and identify the anatomical structures necessary to carry out technical assessment and intervention
addressed
Domain implementing technical assessment and intervention addressed
Ability to record complete and accurate.

Program

Introduction to the course (2h)
1.The examination / assessment in physical therapy and its relationship with the ICF (1h)
2.The clinical reasoning in physiotherapy (1h)
3. Assessment and diagnosis in physiotherapy and the model of problem solving (1h)
4. Examination / assessment
4.1 Subjective Examination (10h)
Obtain the following data:
Generic sociodemographic; Social history; Occupation; Growth and development ; Environment; General health;
Social habits / health; Family history; Medical surgical history; Current Conditions / main complaints; Functional
health status and activity level; Medication; Other clinical trials.
4.2 Objective examination (60h)
4.2.1 Examine patients / clients by performing a review of systems that may include traces of Systems
cardiovascular / pulmonary, musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, integumentary and the assessment of
communication, emotional state, cognition, language, and learning style
4.2.2 Tests and measures.
