Teaching Methodologies

In this CU there will be: i) exploration of themes and problem situations, from a perspective of Gender, Citizenship and Human Rights; ii) analysis, interpretation and discussion of documents, in groups, encouraging reflection, sharing and stimulating critical attitudes in class; iii) research and reflection on Health Education strategies; iv) design of intervention proposals in Health Education, based on and selected by the students, taking into account the specific context of action;

Learning Results

Understand the evolution of the concept of health, values and paradigms within the framework of Human Rights.

Recognize the determinants of health and health promotion and quality of life policies.

Reflect on social determinants and health inequalities.

Expand discussions on the relationship between health, gender and education.

Deepen Health Education models and strategies.

Reflect on health intervention strategies aimed at promoting individual and population health.

Plan Health Education intervention programs at national and international level in specific contexts.
