Management Information Systems

Base Knowledge

This Course Unit (UC) does not require previous knowledge

Teaching Methodologies

Classes will be taught in a theoretical-practical format, in computer rooms.

An interactive expository methodology will be used in the presentation of some fundamental tools and concepts, supported by practical experimentation based on problem solving.
The problem-based learning component will seek to approximate, whenever possible, learning in the classroom to situations experienced in professional practice. Additionally, a collaborative learning strategy (i.e., peer interaction) will be maintained throughout the semester, which will seek to help the presentation of themes of greater complexity and involvement.

In addition to the classes, students are motivated to develop complementary learning, through the resolution of challenges launched throughout the semester.
