Quantificação e Orçamentação das Operações

Base Knowledge

Mathematics: calculation of areas and volumes; Drawing: interpretation of drawings projects. Informatics: handling of spreadsheet and drawing software.

Teaching Methodologies

The teaching methodology includes 4 different phases of teaching. It starts by contextualizing the students on the recent
evolution verified on the subject and follows with the theoretical presentation and explanation of the actual rules and
procedures using the expository and inquisitive method. The 3rd phase evolves consulting solved exercises, listening to
reports of real life situations and applying the knowledge by solving exercises. Finally, students will develop practical
group assignments of scientific and technical interpretation and research.
In the Tutorials students will be supervised, through the clarification of doubts, exercises resolution and guidance of the
practical assignment.
Evaluation: composed of 2 equal parts in value. The 1st part is a continuous one and intends to evaluate the work done
by the students though out the semester. The 2nd one consists of an exam. The final classification is the addiction of
both components, observing 30% minimums.

Learning Results

this subject aims to develop the ability to produce price proposals for the implementation of projects,
including the previous quantification of all the work necessary
Generic skills: understanding and solving the problems, resolution methodology selection and consequent application.
Evaluate the results obtained, look for alternative solutions and communicate the results according to specific
predefined criteria.
Specific skills: learn how to measure and estimate the cost for the concretization of a project. Develop the skills needed
to prepare a bid.
