Teaching Methodologies
The scientific approach of the proposed syllabus integrates the combination of diversified teaching-learning methods, including: i) exposure, analysis and active discussion of scientific articles, in order to stimulate the development of a critical position in relation to the disseminated knowledge; ii) collection, systematization and presentation of information; iii) appreciation and debate of films, conferences and other elements involved in the field of human resilience; iv) discussion and reflection on problematic situations raised by everyday issues, involved in the development of resilience in various actors in the school context.
Students can opt for continuous assessment, being asked a written test with consultation (50%) and a group work to be presented in the classroom (50%); or by exam, through a written test (100%).
Learning Results
Understand the concept of health.
Distinguish the dimensions of the resilience construct.
Recognize models and theories regarding the resilience construct applied to children, young people and adults, as well as salutogenic life skills and attitudes associated with them.
Evaluate resilient adaptation processes in the face of adversity throughout the life cycle of human beings.
Promote reflection and debate on relevant issues that affect the resilience and health of various actors in school life, in light of the sustainable development goals 3, 4, 5 and 10 .
Develop didactic materials on resilience and health for the 1st and 2nd cycle of basic education.
