Teaching Methodologies
The pedagogical methods and strategies adopted include: exposure (T8); demonstration/exemplification of therapeutic exercise with simulated practice between students; and problem solving (T/P17).
Learning Results
Develop knowledge and understanding at an in-depth level about therapeutic exercise in approaching the structures and functions of the body and the activities of the human being.
The academic skills to be acquired are the following:
– Acquisition of a level of specialized knowledge that allows therapeutic exercise to be integrated into the approach to human beings throughout life;
– Ability to analyze the available evidence on therapeutic exercise;
– Ability to plan, organize and implement therapeutic exercise;
– Ability to integrate knowledge, deal with complex issues, develop solutions or make judgments in new situations in multidisciplinary contexts;
– Development of a critical spirit and initiative when implementing therapeutic exercises.
– Cognitive, methodological, technological and linguistic capabilities.
– Ability to create and apply research methodologies to study the effect of therapeutic exercise.
