Course Objectives
Train qualified technicians to intervene in Sports and Physical Activity, within the scope of municipalities, clubs, associations, gyms and fitness centres, adventure or nature sports companies, among others.
Access Conditions
The following are eligible to apply to the cycle of studies leading to the degree of TeSP:
a. Holders of a high school degree or legally equivalent qualification;
b. Those who have passed the specific exams to assess the capacity to attend higher education for those over 23 years old, carried out for the course in question;
c. Holders of a technological specialization diploma, a TeSP diploma or a higher education degree.

Learning Objectives
The CTesP in Sport confers the necessary skills and competencies to:
1. Plan, guide and conduct programs of Sport and Physical Activity, in the promotion and maintenance of physical fitness, as well as participate, under the supervision of the Technical Director, in the evaluation and prescription of sports activities, in the quality control of sports services and in the implementation of measures leading to its improvement, the retention of customers and the promotion and retention in sports, as well as and the acquisition of healthy lifestyles.
2. Intervene in sports organizations in the monitoring of activities related to the planning, promotion and evaluation of training.
3. Evaluate the motor performance level and physical condition of people involved in sports training programs or in the scope of physical condition maintenance programs.
4. Design and develop means and tools for the promotion of health and healthy lifestyles;
5. Develop the planning of physical and sporting activities, oriented to competition, under programs for maintenance of physical condition or for leisure.
Access to Superior Studies
Holders of a CTesP may apply for a 1st study cycle (Bachelor’s Degree) through the special Concours (paragraph c), number 2, article 3 of Decree-Law no. 113/2014, of 16th July.
