Course Objectives
The aim of this SC is to promote the construction and development of knowledge, practices and attitudes
in the field of Health Education , aimed at training qualified professionals for a qualified and informed
intervention in the various contexts in which they exercise / can exercise their action (business, schools,
nursery schools, kindergartens, nursing homes, day centers, social support institutions to vulnerable
populations, educational centers, prisons, health centers, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, etc.).
Access Conditions
The following can apply for access to the study cycle leading to a master’s degree in Health Education:
a) Holders of a bachelor’s degree or legal equivalent in the areas of education, health sciences, related areas or others considered relevant;
b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies in the areas of education, health sciences, related areas or others considered relevant, organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by an acceding State to this Process;
c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree by the scientific technical council of ESTeSC;
d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum, which is recognized as attesting the ability to carry out this cycle of studies by the scientific technical council of ESTeSC.

Learning Objectives
i) To develop and deepen knowledge in the field of Education for Health;
ii) Apply knowledge, and contribute to solving problems in new situations in wide multidisciplinary
situations;
iii) To build a base of development and / or original application of knowledge and skills in the field of
intervention, linking the development of quality practices by adopting a critical and investigative analysis
on attitude insights and relevant research;
iv) Integrate knowledge, handle complex issues, develop solutions and make judgments on limited or
incomplete information situations, including reflections on the implications and ethical and social
responsibilities that result from those solutions and those judgments or conditional;
v) To develop the ability to communicate the conclusions, the knowledge and reasoning that underlie them,
the monitors, the experts, not specialists, in a clear and unambiguous;
vi) develop skills that allow for learning throughout life, in a way self-oriented or autonomous.
The degree of achievement of these goals will be evaluated in the various course CU.
Access to Superior Studies
The master degree allows the application to postgraduate studies.
